  3. I think it was extremely fun and rather difficult. I kind of want to do another one. After all, now, since it is not by the rules, I could do Ancient Japan!!!!!!!

  4. except for the first turn in date (which was stressful because I held everything off until the last minute) it was really fun. But I really think the art project and the intro was the best part of it.

  5. The big project is finally over. The hardest part was when I had to do the daily life on wesday! I learnd how Rome became a great civilazation. It was fun learning about the Roman Empire.

  6. All of the project was extremely fun! From making Sheelas and Crosses to writing an anecdote about a Druid to the final turn-in date, I've loved it all. At some times, it got pretty hard because I could hardly find any info, like the lit response until I found out that I could do "Death of Balder." All in all, I have learned to researc early on, not wait until the last moment, and that when you believe it's fun, it is.

  7. Well, I actually kind of loved this project. I feel like someone could ask me anything about Mesopotamia and I could tell them the answer. My favorite part of the entire project was making a cuneiform tablet. Some parts were easier to find information for than others. And I really liked the Ancient Civ Night yesterday! I actually don't have any negative thoughts about it.

  8. I truly thought that it was fun between doing all of the research and getting to wear a beard (which was very uncomfortable.) I enjoyed it a lot.

  9. I found this project very fun and it helped me learn A LOT about my self. I really need to learn not to procrastinate in that I need to start to plan things and get them done by a certain date so I can embellish. I.... its so hard to say... but... I... ACCUALLY... HAD... FUN!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

  10. Although the project started out rather difficult, it became way easier by the end.I'm glad it's over, but I think I might be lost without it! Even though last night seemed kind of scary, it was very enjoyable and I thought that everyone did a wonderful job! Throughout this project I learned not to be overwhelmed if it seems that I have alot to do, but take it one at a time. Overall doing this project was an enjoyable experience!

  11. The Ancient Civ project was very fun!!!!!!! The biggest thing I learned was not to procrastinate. The biggest thing I learned from the Roman Empire is that Rome's government was really organized. I would say the most fun thing in the project was yesterday. Seeing everyone dressed up was great! I feel relieved and sad that it is over. Now, is it just me or did the project and due dates went by fast?

  12. This project was certainly was a lot of fun. It was challenging because you would have to get things right and have them half way done so that you could have time to work on other things for homework. But other than that I showed me what I can achieve work wise for school if I really put my mind to it and focus. I also didn't expect the project to be hard at all but it wasn't just a little difficult at times. I agree with Nancy the due dates did go by fast but you just have to plan ahead of time...

  13. The Ancient Civ project was soooooooo much fun! It was challenging, but if you stay on task throughout the project that makes it a bit easier. The two biggest things I learned were: do not procrastinate, and note cards REALLY help when you are presenting something verbally. I agree with Nancy and Tamiya, the duedates did go really quickly. Overall this project was fun, challenging, and exciting. I am sad and happy that it is over. :)

  14. This project was fun but challenging. I learned that if you start the project earlier, and stay one task, it is much more fun and is easier. I loved it!!!

  15. Reserching Ancient Egypt was very fun. I am glad that it is over, even though it was very fun. It was easy, unless you procrastinated untill the last minute, but I am sure no one did that in this class :)

  16. The Ancient Civ project was a very long and bumpy road. Yet, now it's at an end. I feel a little happy, yet somewhat sad. What am I going to do with all this free time!!!!!!1 All in all, The ancient Civ project was a huge learning expirience. Ancient Civ night was exciting and so frustrating. There were several arghhhhhh moments. Highlights include my hat,a brain blank, and an art project" late notice."However, this was a great learning expierience. I learned some great life lessons. and then some pretty intresting lessons. The life lessons were take it one at a time, always have a good nights sleep, and never stop untill it's done. The others include that plastic and clay don't mix, same thing with sombreroes and China, and finnally, never leave those NOTECARDS at home.

  17. Personally, I think it should have lasted longer. I think the due dates went by too fast. if I had much more time my report would have had much more information than it does now. I learned much about myself literally and figuratively, but the main thing I learned about myself was... to not procrastinate like many other people had said. I am not glad that it is over because I clearly wished it could last forever, but "For all things must die"- quoted by Alfred Lord Tennyson.

  18. Wow, it over. It's actually over! Although I'm not too happy about it. It was so much fun fun not only learning about Ancient Rome, but about myself as well. Overall, I am happy about not stressing about turning things in. I loved doing this report. It was a great experience!

  19. Overtime I found that reasearching Ancient China was fun. I'm glad it's all over, but I don't knowhow long it will take me to get used to all this free time. I learned many lessons such asif you can, have notecards. When I was up the words seemed to leave my head. I really enjoyed working on this report and learning about Ancient China.

  20. I liked doing the ancient civilization report alot. Although it was alot of fun I'm glad it's over. The huge project took alot of hardwork. I'm especially glad I didn't procrastinate.

  21. The Ancient Civ project, was extremely hard, but extremely rewarding. I learned many things, about the project, and also about myself. I found that if you stick to due dates, researching/writing is not all that bad. It feels nice to be over with "Night in the Ancient World," like a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders. I enjoyed it, and also learned that less notes is not also better. It was fun to be able to get up and show what I have learned. Overall, I enjoyed learning about Ancient Greece, and the project, almost done, is really rewarding.

  22. The Ancient Civ Project.....there are so many things to comment on about that report. Well, with the first due date I was caught slightly of guard by all of the work, but I felt great in the end of those projects. For the rest of the report I pretty much completed powerpoints, which, I learned, you need to be EXTREMELY patient with. The art project...let's just say I'm happy I was able to finish it........Oh, and a Night in the Ancient World was super fun! I was surprised to find out that I actually wasn't nervous, knowing that the people in the audience really wouldn't have anything to laugh at (I mean, it's our parents we're talking about!)Overall, the report was a GREAT experience. I have learned so many life lessons as well as lessons when using art (don't use InstaMold for two part molds)YAY for all of the great Ancient Civ Reports! Oh, and by the way, make SURE to thank your parents for their support. I'm sure they probably helped you with everything as much as they helped me, especially with props for my videos.

  23. I had a lot of fun, but I'm glad it's over. I learned that hard work makes you feel good. Except when you become really tired and can't finish your chores. Night in th Ancient world was awesome!! The only time that I wasn't having fun was when my mom showed me the video she took with me on stage. I found out that whenever I get nervous, I kick my right leg A LOT. When I finished my whole report on Ancient Egypt, I wanted to do it again

  24. This was a very fun project. It was stressful, for at times I procrastinated, but it prepared me for middle school, high school, and college to an extent.
P.S. My propaganda is on my blog.

  25. This prooject was uber fun, but at the same time, uber pain, for someone who does't have much "extra" time. this project reminded me that my life would be A LOT easier if i didn't procastinate! I will keep this experience with me forever
